The U.S. Chamber is working to ensure that Congress doesn't pass a government-run health plan. While the Chamber supports meaningful health reforms, the public option and sweeping employer mandates in the Senate HELP Committee bill and House draft enforce heavy-handed government intervention, instead of real reform.
